Thermoport Transport Tanks

 Thermoport transport tanks are ideal for moving your fish conveniently and safely. They are robustly, rotationally moulded in inert polyethylene in a range of 4 practical sizes. Being much lighter and impact resistant than glassfibre, they increase your fish-carrying capacity. The smallest size slips easily into a hatchback, whilst the largest two sizes are ideal for trailers, pick-ups and lorries. The latter two sizes have a unique, double wall construction, with the inner layer being a special polyethylene foam. This has great insulating properties, yet is robust and hygienic. |

NEW – Thermoport T1100 fish transport tank | LINN Thermoport fish transport tanks have been tried and tested over more than 15 years of daily use. Over the years, there have been requests for bigger polyethylene fish transport tanks. The reasons are obvious: Thermoport fish transport tanks are robust and easy to maintain, the price is unbeatable and they are available with relatively short delivery times. These are the reasons a great investment has been made to develop a tool for a bigger tank. It is now possible to supply a new Thermoport with a capacity of 1100 litres – unique on the European market. Tanks of this size have previously been made of glass fibre, with the usual disadvantages, compared to Thermoport. The new, bigger tank is made in one piece, without welds or seams. It is made of food-safe plastic (PE) which is resistant to chemicals and disinfectants, helping to maintain biosecurity between loads of fish. It is also tough and impact-resistant. Despite the large size, great care has been taken with the design to ensure all corners are round to prevent injuries to the fish and increase the stability of the water load. The special construction (PE : PE foam) taken from the design of the smaller tanks, gives excellent insulation, reduces heating-up and provides a more constant temperature. |

All GRP-Transport tanks are supplied with a standard lid. The purpose-built oversized lid makes it easy to transfer fish into the tank using a net. The lid is easy to open and shut. The closure mechanism is fitted inside the lid, so preventing harm to fish caused by a closure sticking out into the body of the container. The lid seal is positioned in a fold on the container and not the lid. T

| It is now possible to maximise the benefits of your bulk liquid oxygen, by using it for transporting fish. Up until now, transportable liquid oxygen tanks have been available in large sizes, for use on large lorries, dedicated to the transport of fish. The technology has been proved over many years. This small transportable liquid oxygen tank has been developed for use on pick-ups and trailers. This means that it can be fitted to the vehicle, when required, allowing the vehicle to be used for other purposes. Normally, oxygen bottles are used, but to use them is expensive and labour-intensive. In addition, they are heavy, and it is often impossible to carry spares to cover traffic jams and delays. In recent years, many fish farmers have bulk tanks of liquid oxygen to supply their farm. As a result, it is now possible to save time and money with the new small oxygen tank! The new oxygen tank has a volume of 60 litres (equivalent to approximately 51 m3/5 big oxygen bottles). It is easy to fill this tank from the bulk tank at the fish farm. The cost savings are such that the investment in the tank system is soon paid for. Then you can forget the annoyance of buying, changing and transporting oxygen bottles! The potential savings are considerable, as in this working example: Assuming a cost of 25 € to fill an oxygen bottle (50 l/200 bar = 10 m3) and a purchase price of 0.15 € per kg for liquid oxygen, the net saving is more than 100 € every time the tank is filled! |  |
